1. Purposes of processing

KJV Sonus provides Scripture text, optional speech playback (TTS), search, bookmarks, and a daily verse. To show ads, third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob) may process certain data.

2. Information the app stores on your device

• On-device content: Bible text, search index, bookmarks, and settings may be stored locally. The design is offline-first; we do not upload your reading history to our servers.
• Preferences: Options you choose (font size, theme, TTS speed, etc.) may be kept in local storage such as shared preferences.

3. Ads and analytics (Google AdMob)

The app may include Google AdMob banner ads. Google may process advertising identifiers, device information, IP address (often at a regional level), and app interactions for delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. See Google’s policies and privacy documentation for details.

• You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (e.g. Apple’s tracking and privacy options on iOS).

4. Tracking disclosures

Under App Store rules, the app may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent where required. Your choice can affect personalized ads.

5. Third-party services

Ads: Google AdMob. Speech: iOS system TTS (AVSpeechSynthesizer); on other platforms, packages such as flutter_tts may apply. Each provider processes data under its own policies.

6. Retention and deletion

Local data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage. If we do not operate a central account server, there may be no separate “delete my account” flow. For data-subject requests, email us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
