Overview
HODIGROUP values user privacy. Kjv Bible is designed so that core Bible reading features can be used without creating an account or submitting directly identifying information to HODIGROUP.
The app may access network and device status information to provide ads, check connectivity, and play audio Bible content. It also stores certain app preferences and Bible reading data locally on your device so the app can remember your last reading position, font size, bookmarks, and highlights.
Important correction to the previous policy:
The previous policy described Wi-Fi ON/OFF control and music download permissions. The current app reviewed for this policy is a KJV Bible app with Bible reading, search, bookmark, highlight, audio playback, notification, and advertising features.

Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app named Kjv Bible, package name com.kjvoffline.hdproject1, provided by HODIGROUP.
This policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, app stores, device operating systems, or services that are not controlled by HODIGROUP. When a third-party service is used, its own privacy policy and settings may also apply.

How information is used
- To provide Bible reading features: display KJV Bible text, search the Bible database, remember reading position, adjust font size, and manage bookmarks or highlights.
- To provide audio Bible playback: request and play the selected Bible audio chapter, keep playback available through foreground media playback, and show playback notifications when needed.
- To provide and improve advertising: display ads through Google Mobile Ads SDK, support ad measurement, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with consent and advertising choices where applicable.
- To maintain app functionality: check network availability, support app performance, and troubleshoot service issues.

Sharing and third-party services
HODIGROUP does not sell personal information. HODIGROUP does not disclose locally stored Bible reading preferences, bookmarks, highlights, or local search activity to third parties through the app's core Bible reading features.
The app uses third-party services that may process information independently:
Audio delivery
Used only when audio Bible playback is requested. Technical request information may be processed so the selected audio content can be delivered and the service can be maintained.
Android system sharing
Used only when you choose to copy or share Bible text. The selected destination app is responsible for how it handles shared content.

App permissions
Used for advertising requests, connectivity-dependent features, and audio Bible streaming.
Used to check whether network or Wi-Fi connectivity is available. The app does not use this permission to turn Wi-Fi on or off.
Used on supported Android versions to show playback-related notifications for audio Bible features when permission is granted.
Used to support audio Bible playback while the playback service is active.
Used to help maintain playback or service behavior while audio-related features are active.
This legacy Android permission may appear in the app manifest for compatibility with older Android versions. It is not used to collect or upload personal files. If storage access is requested by the device system, it should be used only for app-related content storage on the device.

Retention and deletion
Local app data, such as reading position, font size, bookmarks, highlights, and audio chapter selections, remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
Because the app does not require an account, HODIGROUP generally cannot identify a user from local app data stored on the user's device. Data processed by Google Mobile Ads SDK is managed according to Google's policies and your Google or device settings. Technical audio delivery logs, if generated by the audio delivery server, are retained only as needed for service operation, security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.

Security measures
HODIGROUP limits the app's core Bible reading features so that they do not require directly identifying personal information. Local preferences, bookmarks, and highlights are stored in app-private areas on the device. Users should protect their device with a screen lock and keep the operating system updated.
Third-party services, such as Google Mobile Ads SDK, maintain their own security measures for data processed through those services.

Children's privacy
Kjv Bible is intended for a general audience and does not ask users to submit personal information. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to HODIGROUP, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

User choices and controls
- Delete local data: delete the app, clear app storage in Android settings, or remove saved items inside the app where available.
- Manage notifications: allow or deny notification permission in Android settings.
- Manage ads: use Google and Android ad settings to reset or delete the advertising ID and manage ad personalization where available.
- Manage third-party sharing: when sharing Bible text, choose only apps you trust.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
HODIGROUP may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements, third-party SDK behavior, or internal privacy practices change. When the policy is changed, the updated date will be revised and the updated policy will be made available through the app, website, or app store listing as appropriate.
